IDEAS FOR GOOD, Harch’s web media platform which gathers ideas for improving society, held an online event “How to create a brand loved in the climate crisis era – Tips for co-creation with Generation Z (Climate Creative Cafe vol.6)” with Members Co.

IDEAS FOR GOOD is implementing the “Climate Creative” project, which aims to tackle the climate crisis through creative ideas, communication, and business models, in cooperation with Members Co. Climate Creative Cafe is a series of events that will focus on the innovative approaches of individuals in various industries, organizations, and positions to solve issues related to the climate crisis and link them to actual actions together with participants.

The event theme was “Planning techniques to engage Generation Z”

The sixth session featured planning techniques to engage Generation Z. In order to create mid- to long-term businesses in the context of sustainability, it is essential to look at young people, who are more vulnerable to the climate crisis and are the future customers of a company. Many companies may be wondering how to incorporate their voices into their existing businesses, how to communicate with them to gain their sympathy, and how to create businesses that will be chosen by their future customers.

We invited Leo Kominz, President of SEAMES, a creative group that uses the power of art and entertainment to solve social problems, to talk about their projects such as “SPINZ,” a social good reality show involving Gen Z influencers. He has also been working with Generation Z on unique projects sponsored by many companies and local governments, such as “RE:VISON ART PROJECT,” a project that rewrites the future of climate change and refugee issues.

In this event, we learned about the values that SEAMES holds dear and the background behind its creative projects that involve both Generation Z and corporations, as we explored the art of planning projects that resonate with people and the know-how of co-creating with Generation Z.
