On July 4, our representative Yu Kato spoke at the event “Circular BASE Bijogi Open Day: What to communicate? To whom? The future of sustainability communication” hosted by Circular Economy.Tokyo.
Circular Economy.Tokyo is operated by Circular Economy Dot Tokyo Co., Ltd, a group company of Arai Paper Recycling Co., Ltd., which has a 73-year history in the waste recycling industry. The company conducts educational, and training programs related to the circular economy and offers sustainability consulting services. In addition to publishing a wide range of content on its website about the circular economy, Circular Economy.Tokyo also manages an interactive gallery where people can see and experience circular practices firsthand. It organizes workshops that extract reusable materials from industrial waste or transform them into new resources.
At the event, Kato shared insights on sustainability initiatives and the role of communication. He also joined Ryōichi Arai, CEO of Circular Economy Dot Tokyo Co., Ltd, in a talk session themed “How can we communicate to co-create a sustainable future?” Together, they explored the possibilities and challenges of effective sustainability communication from both local resource circulation and global information dissemination perspectives.
We will continue to share information and ideas that contribute to a more sustainable society.
