Circular Economy Hub has been holding a monthly series called “Circular X” since April 27th, 2021. The series is an online study program where participants can learn about the future image of the circular economy, which is spreading through various industries and areas.
10th session topic: “Circular economy and human resources”
The topic for this session was “Circular economy and human resources.” The circular economy does not just contribute to decoupling environmental burdens and economic growth. It is also getting attention from the viewpoint of human resources. The shift to new economic models is expected to create new jobs. However, there is also a possibility of unemployment in certain industries. How to realize the circular economy in an inclusive way is also an issue for discussion. In addition, for realizing the circular economy, it is essential for people across industries and positions to cooperate. The promotion of the circular economy creates links between different industries and fields, and it is expected that connections between people, as well as connections between regions, will be rebuilt.
This time we had Tetsuji Inaba and Takashi Oshima as guests. Inaba is the Circular HR Chief Editor and executive recruiting consultant at Waris, a company that provides support services such as job searching for female workers who want various working styles, as well as problem solving for corporate human resources and support for our non-work time and our ways of life. Oshima is CEO and Motivation Engineering Research Director for Link and Motivation, a company which strives for organizational solutions for clients as well as supporting personal growth.
