Yokohama’s global city promotion website covers CEO Kato’s insights at Y-SHIP 2023

The City of Yokohama’s global city promotion website, “Inspire Your Soul Find Your YOKOHAMA,” recently published a report on the “Y-SHIP 2023” event, featuring insights from CEO Kato, who participated as a panelist.

Inspire Your Soul Find Your YOKOHAMA provides information on new discoveries that stimulate intellectual curiosity, as well as information about Yokohama that may seem familiar but is actually unknown and unintentionally exciting.

Y-SHIP 2023 is an international conference that aims to bring in overseas vitality, create new innovations with colleagues from around the world to solve problems, and present a vision of a sustainable society through green innovation from Yokohama. Held over three days from November 13 to 15 last year, the conference attracted diverse members from about 50 countries, including domestic and foreign companies, overseas startup support organizations, international organizations, embassies, and leaders from Asian cities. It was an enthusiastic event that connected Yokohama and the world beyond national borders.

Our company’s Kato spoke at the session “Case studies and challenges in urban design incorporating Green Transformation” on November 14, sharing the details and challenges of our GX activities and the benefits of expanding into Yokohama for our sustainability-related business.
