Harch staff presented at “Liberal Arts and Innovation: Fostering ‘Dynamic Liberal Arts’ to Drive Business”

Harch staff presented at “Liberal Arts and Innovation: Fostering ‘Dynamic Liberal Arts’ to Drive Business”

  • On Dec 16, 2023
  • Hakuhodo, Harch Europe, IDEAS FOR GOOD, Innovation, liberal arts, LIVe, Online Event, The University of Tokyo

Ito from our company was a speaker at the online event “[University of Tokyo Faculty of Liberal Arts x Hakuhodo] Liberal Arts and Innovation: Fostering ‘Dynamic Liberal Arts’ to Drive Business.” The event, hosted by LIVe, the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Liberal Arts, took place on December 4.

LIVe is a community that takes on the challenge of creating socially valuable products, including innovations and brands. This is achieved through the collaborative fusion of the “liberal arts knowledge” nurtured by the University of Tokyo and the “sei-katsu-sha ideas” cultivated by Hakuhodo.

The event discussed the possibilities of liberal arts and innovation from diverse perspectives, including academia, business, and culture.

Ito, who delivered a speech at the event, is a member of IDEAS FOR GOOD, our web media, and Harch Europe, a business organization with members residing in Europe. Based on the knowledge she has gained through these engagements, she and Keigo Bove (Hakuhodo/Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo’s College of Liberal Arts) presented a report on the impact of liberal arts on business.

We will continue to provide information on innovation in the future.
