In January 2025, the City of Yokohama announced the recipients of the 31st Yokohama Environmental Activities Award, and an award ceremony was held at Yokohama City Hall on January 14. This year, a total of 15 recipients were recognized, including 5 individuals/organizations, 9 businesses, and 1 student. Circular Yokohama received the Grand Prize in the corporate category.

Circular Yokohama was recognized for:

• Establishing a platform to accelerate the circular economy in Yokohama.
• Providing learning opportunities on circular economy concepts through online courses and fieldwork programs.
