[Circular Yokohama] Community Loops: Launched A New Circular Fashion Project

Circular Yokohama, a platform that promotes the circular economy in Yokohama, is operating the ministry of the environment subsidized project “Community Loops” together with CYKLUS, a company engaged in circular economy businesses focused on clothing repair, remake, and fashion. The initiative aims to achieve resource circulation within the community and create new community value through used clothing up-cycling and recycling.

To commemorate the launch, we will host the event “Let Go, Swap, and Be Reborn: A Night of Clothes and Stories in the Community Closet” on September 12.

The event will take place at the community space “benten103” in Kannai/Bashamichi. CYKLUS repair specialists will be on site, allowing not only clothing exchange but also simple repair services.
