From October 21 to 23, “Asia Pacific Circular Economy Roundtable & Hotspot Taiwan 2025” was held in Taipei, Taiwan. Harch Inc. CEO Yu Kato participated as a speaker in the “Circular Design” session.

The Asia Pacific region has become a global manufacturing hub with extensive industrial supply chains. However, it now faces serious environmental challenges resulting from the conventional linear economic model. Under the theme of “Advancing Circular Collaboration,” the event explored how to transform “good ideas,” meaning circular strategies and innovations, into “good business” through “good governance” at corporate, national, and international levels.
In the “Circular Design” session, Kato joined Jui-Che Tu from National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Arthur Huang from Miniwiz Co., Ltd., and Eric Wang from RHINOSHIELD (Evolutive Labs Co., Ltd.), a smartphone accessory brand from Taiwan. They discussed pathways for introducing sustainable product standards and the value that redesigning products and services can bring to companies, sharing insights through real world examples.

Harch will continue to promote the dissemination of knowledge and practices related to the circular economy.
