IDEAS FOR GOOD joins the exhibition “Sustainability in Honesty” at Glass Rock, a hub for solving social issues

IDEAS FOR GOOD joins the exhibition “Sustainability in Honesty” at Glass Rock, a hub for solving social issues

IDEAS FOR GOOD, our web media platform that curates ideas for making society better, has joined the special exhibition “Sustainability in Honesty” as a planning partner. The exhibition is being held at the Glass Rock Gallery, located inside Glass Rock, a facility developed by Mori Building Co., Ltd., from Wednesday, April 9 to Monday, June 30, 2025.

The exhibition, themed around “sustainability in honesty,” sheds light on the real and often overlooked feelings surrounding sustainability. These include concerns from corporate sustainability managers about rising costs and increased workloads, as well as the inconveniences and confusion that individuals may feel when trying to lead more sustainable lives. Alongside these honest perspectives, IDEAS FOR GOOD presents examples of companies tackling social issues and ideas for actions individuals can take to help create a better society.

Glass Rock: a cross-sector hub for solving social issues

Mori Building officially opened Glass Rock – Social Action Community on April 9, 2025, within the newly completed Toranomon Hills Glass Rock (Block A-2 of the Toranomon 1-2 Chome District Urban Redevelopment Project), which was completed in August 2024. Glass Rock is a membership-based hub that brings together diverse players from companies, government agencies, NPOs, and individuals to foster cross-sector collaboration and co-creation aimed at solving complex societal issues such as climate change, poverty, inequality, and gender equality—issues that cannot be solved by a single organization alone.

The space is designed with three key functions: connecting people through a collaborative community supported by experts in community management, offering programs and events that foster hands-on learning and dialogue, and serving as a platform to amplify perspectives on social issues through event spaces and studios. Through these functions, Glass Rock aims to spark innovation rooted in social issue resolution and contribute to building a more sustainable society.

Around 30 organizations—including corporations, NPOs, academic institutions, and quasi-governmental agencies—have joined Glass Rock as “co-creation partners” to share insights and support issue-solving efforts. As a participating partner, our company also contributes by planning collaborative programs and projects rooted in social issues, working together with the Glass Rock community to accelerate co-creation.

One of the key initiatives at Glass Rock is the Glass Rock Gallery, a space facing the plaza at Toranomon Hills Station. The gallery hosts exhibitions and events that showcase the activities of member organizations and deepen public understanding and empathy toward social challenges.

IDEAS FOR GOOD introduces actions to address social issues at the exhibition “Sustainability in Honesty”

IDEAS FOR GOOD is participating in the exhibition held at the Glass Rock Gallery from April 9 to June 30, 2025, showcasing actionable ideas to help solve various social challenges. Under the theme “sustainability in honesty: from ‘I can’t do this alone’ to ‘this is something I can do too!’,” the exhibition features a range of stories and examples from the IDEAS FOR GOOD platform. These include innovative corporate initiatives such as “a pub where customers choose the price of their drink,” as well as everyday lifestyle ideas like “tips for eating ethically.”

Visitors to the exhibition are encouraged to vote for their favorite “small step you can take starting tomorrow.” The votes are collected and displayed in real time, giving immediate feedback and fostering engagement. This exhibition seeks to encourage open and honest dialogue about sustainability and inspire paths toward a more sustainable future.

Special feature page now available on IDEAS FOR GOOD

In conjunction with the exhibition, IDEAS FOR GOOD has launched a special feature page introducing impactful actions by companies and individuals working to create a better society. Visitors can view real-time voting results on “small steps you can take starting tomorrow,” both at the venue and online. We invite everyone to join and participate.

Exhibition date: April 9 – June 30, 2025
